We’re excited to welcome you to Sandton for our team-building experience at the Sandton Sun Hotel, located above Sandton City Mall and connected to the Sandton Convention Centre.
Travel & Logistics
We’ll be arranging airport pick-up from OR Tambo International Airport to the hotel for all guests. Please ensure your flight details are shared in advance so we can coordinate your transfer smoothly.
Shuttle buses will be provided for all scheduled off-site activities, including dinner events and return trips to the hotel.
Team-building sessions and group transport will be organized according to the program schedule, so please refer to the itinerary for exact timings.
- Gautrain: A quick and safe alternative if you prefer to travel independently. It runs directly from OR Tambo to Sandton Station (a short walk from the hotel).
- Ride Apps: Uber and Bolt operate reliably in Johannesburg for short trips or additional transport needs.
- Traffic: Johannesburg traffic can be busy, especially during peak hours (7–9 AM and 4–6 PM), so always allow extra travel time.
- Safety: Stick to well-lit public areas and avoid walking alone at night. The Sandton area is generally safe, especially around the hotel and mall.
- Connectivity: Local SIM cards or international roaming will help you stay connected. Free Wi-Fi is also available at the hotel.
